Zak Bates

Financial Director

Zak has been married to his wife Michelle since June of 2015. Zak and Michelle began volunteering with City Lights at Night Light in January 2016. After being a dedicated volunteer, Zak stepped into the role as Financial Director in June of 2019. Prior to City Lights, Zak worked in insurance.

Zak is responsible for overseeing the overall financial position of the City Lights Foundation, in addition to providing support to the Executive Director and other team members as needed. 

Zak received his Bachelor of Business Administration - Finance from Southwestern Oklahoma State University (Weatherford, OK) in 2015. Zak is fully ingrained in the Tulsa community and truly believes in the power of meaningful relationships to restore community.
